Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing AQM Connect (the "Portal") you agree to these Terms of Use. The Portal is operated by AQM Water Treatment ("AQM", "we", "us") for the purpose of logging, tracking and communicating about water treatment service requests. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Portal.

2. Who can use it

The Portal is provided to AQM customers, their nominated site contacts and reporters. Access is granted by invitation or by linking to a customer site. You must keep your sign-in credentials confidential and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

3. Acceptable use

  • Use the Portal only to report genuine service issues and to communicate about cases you are involved in.
  • Do not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringes another party's rights, or contains malware.
  • Do not attempt to access accounts, organisations, sites or cases that you have not been authorised to view.
  • Do not attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer or disrupt the Portal or its underlying systems.

4. Content you submit

You retain ownership of the photos, videos, descriptions and messages you submit. By submitting content you grant AQM a non-exclusive licence to store, process and use it for the purpose of delivering the service, maintaining records and improving the Portal. You confirm you have the right to upload the content and that it does not contain sensitive personal information beyond what is reasonably needed to describe the fault.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the Portal available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Portal may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, upgrades or events outside our control. For urgent issues outside Portal availability, contact us directly using the details on the Support page.

6. Third-party services

The Portal relies on third-party providers for hosting, email delivery and job management. We choose providers we consider reputable, but we are not responsible for their underlying services or outages.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AQM is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Portal. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable mandatory laws.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Portal after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
